OK, so it's only been ELEVEN days since we got our LOA, but why put off packing until the last minute? Especially Lili's packing, it's not like she's going to miss anything being packed away. So, here's the list of things I plan on taking for her (yes, just her!) So much for traveling light!!
- cotton shorts (with elastic/adjustable waist)-5 pair
- cotton t-shirts-5
- dresses-3
- underwear (in a variety of sizes!)-8 pair
- pajamas (WONDERFUL 3 piece sets with shirt, shorts and pants)-2 (she can wear them as outfits if need be)
- socks (variety of sizes)-3 pair
- zippered sweatshirt-1
- pull ups (just in case for the plane ride, nighttime--may be needed because of stress)-12
- plastic toddler sized spoons and forks
- spill-proof cup with a pop-up straw (Brett LOVED his!)-1
- thick oatmeal lotion-1 tube
- watermelon-strawberry (!) shampoo-2 oz.
- prescription meds (Elimite for scabies, Antibiotic)
- medications (Tylenol, cold/cough, flu, anti-diarrheal, sunscreen, Pedialyte powder)
- hair accessories--tiny clips, headbands, Hello Kitty barettes (which will fit because I tried them on my son who has the SAME haircut as Lili!!) :)
- ladybug backpack filled with toys, etc. (bubbles, crayons, coloring books, stickers, sunglasses, Polly Pockets, flashcards, etc.)
- cheerios and Hello Kitty fruitsnacks
- raincoat (rainy season in Guangzhou!!)
- Ling Language Littles doll (speaks Chinese and English)
- Leap Frog "Lily" counting plush ("Hi, I'm Lily"!)
- toddler toothbrush and toothpaste
- bathing suit
- Lili's own Disney Princess camera with photo album and stickers
- bracelets that I made for her
- toddler wipes
- the same Mickey Mouse doll as we sent her in her care package (we've been sleeping with it for a week so far)
- blanket (I'm going to use it on the plane ride there!)
OK, I'm sure I'll come across some other things she just HAS to have, but this is what I have so far. Any other suggestions?
