What Is A Dad?
A dad is someone who wants to catch you before you fall
but instead picks you up, brushes you off, and lets you try again.
A dad is someone who wants to keep you from making mistakes
A dad is someone who wants to keep you from making mistakes
but instead lets you find your own way,
even though his heart breaks in silence when you get hurt.
A dad is someone who holds you when you cry, scolds you when you break the rules,
shines with pride when you succeed, and has faith in you even when you fail...
Dad, you're everything a dad should be and some.

Just found your blog over the weekend....I've gone back and read all of your posts and am very excited to "travel" with you to China soon. I'm also from Indiana (just south of Indy) and spent the Superbowl at the American Consulate in Guanzhou!!!! Long story short, my guide was concerned about some paperwork and took me with her while she applied for our kid's visas. Everyone there that Monday morning got a good laugh looking at my Colts jersey! I'm not certain where you are, but I lived in Laporte county for a number of years. Congrats!!!!!
