New Home: Week 3 (Day 22)
It IS!!
(if anyone has any fantastic 10' window covering ideas, please share)
Heading upstairs
The view from the back, or as we like to call it, Robot Head
And this is where the bad little children go :)
OK, so Jeff was so excited (and a little jealous) that we got to see such good progress on our house Wednesday, that we decided to go up again today to check on it.
We were all so very pleased and stoked to see an actual HOUSE!!
Brett couldn't wait to run up to his room and even get in his shower. He ran around in the basement and in the backyard.
Little Miss Lili was overawed by the whole experience. "That not our house" she kept saying and wondered why she could walk through the walls.
All in all, we are (so far) pretty impressed with the whole process. It's only been 3 weeks (in March...in Indiana) and we have a real house.
I think that's going to just make it harder to wait the rest of the weeks and months until it's done.
We really hated to leave. But! We'll be back next week ;)

Oh my. That's some serious progress since earlier this week. I'm so happy for you. Have a super weekend.
PS. They are predicting the return of snow on Sunday...boo!!
That's so cool. What a surprise.
I had to tell you that last Sunday I was in the kitchen doing dishes with Emily. She was looking out the window and said something about a turkey. I really didn't pay much attention to it until I looked out the window actually saw a wild turkey walking down our driveway. It took a left turn and walked through the yards down toward CVS.
I started laughing and though, yeah, they move out and the turkeys start moving in. :-)
