I am so excited for my buddy Kim and her family.

They FINALLY got their LOA today! I just couldn't be happier for them.

Congratulations Chris, Kim and Emma. AND JOSIE!!

Yesterday, I got home before Chris had gotten Emma from her latchkey program so that I could get two matching fleece coats out of the closet. Emma didn't know I bought her and Josie matching fleece butterfly coats from Children's Place. I greeted Emma at the door with the new coats and told her that we had our LOA. There was a lot of jumping up and down and squealing.

It's going to be hard to concentrate and I'm going to be swamped at work until we leave. I woke up at 5am and couldn't sleep anymore. I'm guessing you did the same thing.

I can't wait to leave work behind for 12 weeks. I also asked for a reduced 20 hour work week schedule for the summer semester. My boss is going to check into it. I'm keeping my fingers crossed.
