Only 184 days to go!!

Lili: 2nd grade

Brett: 7th grade

Yesterday was the first day of school here. (I actually had the post in the works last night, but blogger took forever to load the pictures, so I quit till this morning)

As you can tell, the kids were pretty excited about it. As you can also tell, it's dark when Lili leaves and light when Brett leaves. He starts an hour later than her and gets home 2 hours later. Don't ask me why...

I'm happy to report that they still had the same shining faces when they got home. Lili, of course LOVES school and her teacher. Brett really, really seems to like everything so far. He's very excited that he has has all male teachers but one. Jeff and I think that'll be good for him too. He's a "man's man".

Mom's "first day of vacation" (hee hee) went pretty well too!

Don't tell the kids that they only get 10 weeks of vacation and I get the other 42!!

Liliana-versary!!

Not sure what we're doing yet, but I'm thinking it'll involve Chinese food and another viewing of our Lili-adoption-journey DVD.
